About Tic-Tac-Tower
Welcome to our enhanced version of the classic Tic-tac-toe game! Tic-Tac-Tower adds strategic depth with different sized chips and stacking mechanics.
Game Overview
In Tic-Tac-Tower, players don't just place X's and O's on a 3x3 grid. Instead, players have chips of three different sizes (large, medium, and small) that can be stacked on top of each other under certain conditions.
Key Features
- Different Sized Chips: Each player has 3 large, 3 medium, and 3 small chips.
- Stacking Mechanics:
- Players can place chips on empty cells
- Players can place larger chips on top of an opponent's smaller chip
- Players cannot place chips on their own chips
- Players cannot place chips on an opponent's chip of equal or larger size
- Victory Condition: Get 3 of your chips in a row, column, or diagonal (only the top chip in each cell counts)
How to Play
- Start: Enter player names and click "Start Game"
- Players are randomly assigned X or O
- Turn Flow:
- The active player is indicated with highlighted inventory
- Click on a cell where you want to place a chip
- A popup appears showing available chip sizes for that position
- Select a chip size to place
- Strategy:
- Use smaller chips early to save larger ones for capturing positions later
- Block your opponent with larger chips when needed
- Pay attention to your remaining chip inventory
Game End
The game ends when a player gets three in a row or when all chips have been used without a winner. Players can then choose to play again or restart with new player names.
